Member’s Diary.

EMBA is keen to offer opportunities to help our members with their beekeeping and to grow their knowledge and expertise. As certain activities occur at around the same point in the year, please note the following dates in the EMBA year. 

For orders of feed and jars, an email / WhatsApp closer to the date will be sent specifying the exact dates to order together with ordering instructions.

    March Exam

    Apply by 10 February

  • Beekeeping Talk

  • Beginners Night.

    An opportunity for new beekeepers to share their experiences with more experienced beekeepers


    Practical Examinations

    Basic Beekeeping Certificate, Junior Beekeeper, Intermediate Practical, The Apiarian)

    Apply by 10 April

  • Bulk Feed order
    Request to place orders for bulk feed and fondant.

  • Bulk Feed order

    Cut-off date to place orders for bulk feed and fondant

    Bees to Heather

    Taking bees to the heather, EMBA Members site, late July.

    Delivery of bulk feed and fondant (to EMBA apiary, for collection)
