Should you also join the Scottish Beekeepers' Association?

As a Beekeeper, you should seriously consider becoming a member of one of the many available beekeeping organisations, most importantly, your own local association. Being a member of the Edinburgh and Midlothian Beekeepers' Association gives you access to our beginners classes, expert advice, access to the local network, free lectures, opportunity to get qualified, and many other benefits. As a full member of EMBA you are are automatically an affiliated member of the SBA.

Being a full member of the SBA offers other important benefits for beekeepers. Here is a short summary of the SBA organisation:

SBA LogoThe SBA est. 1912, provides services and information for its members, beekeepers, all those interested in beekeeping and the Scottish Beekeepers' Association. Applications for membership from both home and overseas are welcomed.
