What's on at the EMBA in 2008?
Spring Program
The Beginners Classes. The EMBA runs an annual Beginners Class in the spring of each year (one evening per week from mid March through May). The classes cover the theoretical and practical basics of beekeeping and give a sound grounding for the new beekeeper. The classes are also a good place to meet other beginners and form mutual help friendships.

Details to follow soon
Please check the EMBA Calendar on our Forum for dates, times and venues.
Note: If in doubt about weather please phone the secretary for confirmation at 10.00am on the day - 01506654968. Please support the events, beekeepers put in a lot of effort for us so lets do our bit by going to them!
Winter Program
The EMBA has regular winter meetings from September through April and usually meets on the second Monday evening of the month in the Royal Botanic Garden Building, 20A Inverleith Row, Edinburgh,EH3 5LR. Speakers give talks or demonstrations on subjects of interest to beekeepers and attending these meetings is a good way of getting a feel for beekeeping and of meeting local beekeepers who tend to be a friendly crowd.
